Scientific objects to be explained
The Laval Cosmodôme's permanent exhibition features scientific artifacts that often require more information to fully understand their function and use. But writing long labels can distort the spirit of the exhibition. What's more, children are rarely interested in reading long texts.
The Cosmodôme has therefore chosen to use MySmartJourney's technology to enhance its scientific content and facilitate understanding of the objects on display.
Using digital technology to popularize science
The Cosmodôme's idea was to place an enriched label next to objects requiring further explanation. This invites visitors to scan a QR code or activate an NFC chip to unlock interactive content on their phone.
To further popularize scientific content, and make it accessible to as many people as possible, the Cosmodôme integrates videos, photos, texts and quizzes into the platform. This enables them to convey more information about their installations without weighing down the exhibition.
